For open ticket fares, seat reservation is not automatically included. This type of ticket allows you to travel on any valid train for the same route and selected date, but without a pre-assigned seat.
If you want a specific seat, you must make an additional seat reservation — subject to availability and cost — through our customer service team or directly with the rail operator before your travel date.
If you do not reserve a seat, you may take any available seat upon boarding, in accordance with the operator’s conditions.
